As One Child changes, Turkey Flourishes

Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) was founded in 1995, in order to support the basic
education given by the Ministry of Education of Turkey. TEGV provides quality educational support to
the children between the ages of 6-14; during and after school at its education units, free of charge.
The activities of TEGV includes a wide range of subjects such as, Coding, Art, English, and Drama.
Children learn through experiencing and living the contents of these activities.. TEGV’s goal is to help
raising children from socio-economically challenged children of Turkey, according to basic principle of
the Turkish Republic. TEGV’s children have high self-esteem and are hopeful for the future. Since its
foundation, more than 3 million children have attended these activities for the past 25 years with the
help ninety thousand volunteers

After the Ministry of Education, TEGV is the most widespread NGO in the field of education with its 67
education units throughout Turkey.
