Gözde Venedik, Founder of Help Steps, Takes the Stage at TEDxWomen

Gözde Venedik, the Founder and CEO of Help Steps, took the stage at TEDxHacettepe University Women to share her personal journey of transformation and the story behind the creation of Help Steps. In her talk titled “Another Story of Transformation,” Venedik shared her inspiring path from a career in engineering to becoming a social entrepreneur.

A graduate of Ankara University with a degree in Geophysical Engineering, Venedik spent 15 years working at TPAO before founding Help Steps in 2020 — the world’s first platform that combines health and social responsibility. This innovative app, which transforms users’ daily steps into charitable donations, has quickly partnered with over 50 non-governmental organizations, collaborated with five of Turkey’s leading sports clubs, and brought more than 40 brands into its social responsibility campaigns.

In her speech, Venedik highlighted the power of generating social impact through digital platforms and emphasized the unifying effect of sports. She also touched on the national and international awards Help Steps has received, along with its ambitious goals for global expansion.
