Thanks to the support of Help Steps users, the 1 billion step campaign launched for our individual beneficiary Salih Emir Belen has been successfully completed, and the mobility device he needed has been delivered to him.

Born on September 2, 2003, at Zekai Tahir Burak Hospital weighing 1840 grams, Salih Emir was diagnosed with cerebral palsy shortly after birth. With a 97% walking disability, he has been receiving continuous physical therapy and rehabilitation since the age of one. He graduated from Serçev High School in 2022.

This step campaign was initiated to improve Salih Emir’s quality of life, and it reached its goal through the support of thousands of compassionate individuals. The mobility device provided through the collected steps will help Salih Emir live more independently and participate more actively in social life.
